Making a Purchase

Making a purchase is simple. Browse our catalogue and add the items you'd like to purchase to your shopping cart. Once you've finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and provide the necessary details to complete your order.

Delivery Schedule

We aim to send your order via next working day courier service if the product is in stock. Please refer to our delivery information page for full details.

Back Orders

If an item is not in stock, we will place it on back order for you.

Tax Charges

VAT will be charged at the current rate of 20% on all applicable products for UK deliveries, excluding the Channel Islands.

Orders delivered to the Channel Islands are exempt from UK VAT. International orders are shipped excluding UK VAT but may be subject to local VAT and duties. You will be notified by our courier partner (e.g., DPD) of any taxes due, which must be paid before delivery.

Please provide a phone number and email address for the recipient to handle these payments. Failure to pay within 5 days may result in the goods being returned to us, and additional costs may apply.

Goods returned to the UK may incur transport and import fees, which will be the responsibility of the person returning the goods.

Returns Policy

Business to Consumer - Your Right to Cancel

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you may cancel and return an order without giving a reason. Please notify us in writing within a seven-day "cooling off" period, starting the day after you receive your goods. You are not obligated to return the goods within these 7 days, but they must be returned unopened, unused, and in their original packaging for a full refund.

Please contact us before returning any items to avoid delays. Use a reputable delivery service with proof of delivery and ensure sufficient packaging to prevent damage in transit. We are not responsible for damage caused by insufficient packaging.

Goods are returned at the customer's cost. If goods are not returned after canceling, they must be made available for collection, with collection costs deducted from the refund. Refunds will be processed within 30 days using the original payment method.

Business to Business - Your Right to Cancel

Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to business-to-business orders. Business customers (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies) may cancel an order within 5 working days after receiving it, provided the products are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging. Returns are at the customer's expense and risk.

If we receive the returned products in acceptable condition, we will issue a credit for future purchases, less a minimum 10% restocking fee and delivery costs.

Damaged / Missing Items?

Most orders arrive on time and in good condition, but items can occasionally be damaged or lost in transit. If this occurs, please contact our Customer Services team immediately. We require pictures of damaged items to expedite the process.

Checking Deliveries

Please check all deliveries for damages, missing, or incorrect items on the day of delivery. Props and Balloons Ltd must be notified within 3 days of delivery to process a claim.

For large items delivered directly from manufacturers, check for damage before signing the delivery note. Writing ‘not checked’ is considered acceptance of the goods in good condition, and later claims will not be considered.

If the driver refuses to wait while you check the goods, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately. If someone else signs for the goods, they must check the items. You accept full responsibility if they sign without checking and indemnify us for any resulting losses.
